Breaking it all Down

We manage to beat the monster trainer, and end up recruiting him.

We run into one of our old opponents – the skeevy bounty-hunting monster trainer.

We finish off this fight, with a couple more side-quests to go.

We make some progress in cleaning these scallywags out.

We encounter another group of pirates we have to clear out.

We save our “client” and now have a fusilier.

Oddly enough, the person we’re trying to protect is competent at defending themselves, so it’s not too hard to keep them alive.

We try to save our first fusilier, and end up seeing them rush headlong into an enemy formation.

We clear the beach and take some time to level up our characters’ abilities.

We’re done with most of the Takoyaki, more or less, so it’s time to move on to the rest of the goons.

We end up fighting a bunch of Octopi and Medusae on a Beach.

We clear this random encounter out, and decide to call this session here.
