We’re done with most of the Takoyaki, more or less, so it’s time to move on to the rest of the goons.

We end up fighting a bunch of Octopi and Medusae on a Beach.

We clear this random encounter out, and decide to call this session here.

We clear out this fight, and now can go to the Palace of the Dead whenever we want.

We have one more fight to do in order to clear the path to the Palace of the Dead.

We finally lay into the Necroprentice – but are we too late?

We attempt to push through the undead defenders to aid this new guest character.

We mop up the last few of this fairly small force, so we can get into the castle.

We now have to get through the handful of undead guards.

We take on the mercenary who had been left in command of these undead.

We move out of the lower area of the map, and start fighting the main enemy force.

We not only face the undead, but also a new environmental hazard – toxic mold with a poison effect.

We face another Necroprentice, who this time has raised the Dragon defenders of a razed village.

We finish taking down this patrol, leaving us to wonder about the “artifacts” they mentioned at the start of the fight.

Once more, we get stuck in, with the Rune Fencers and Valkyries turning out to be rather squishy.

We encounter a group that hasn’t gotten the “We Didn’t do a Genocide” memo, and end up having to fight them.

We clear the way, and do some fiddling with our main party members’ equipment loadout to use some items we picked up earlier.
