We start the penultimate chapter of the adventure.

Last session, we launched our attack on the mountain when The City of Lost Names fell. We kicked off this session by emerging into what was basically a small manor built into the depths of the mountain.
This is our second real dungeon of the campaign, and this one is built more around a lot of combat encounters very close together, to tax your resources. Some of these are avoidable, but most of the methods to avoid them require someone in the party speak Draconic. None of the party members did, but Yseult had the Tongues spell – but didn’t use it until I asked if anyone had Comprehend Languages or Tongues, at one of the later encounters, which got the players to check their sheets.
So, this is something of a retroactive reminder to myself and to GMs – sometimes you need to remind players of what resources they have. If they don’t use it enough, they might forget they have it.
After making it to Demelin, and completing her trial, I had enough time in the session to run the Test of High Sorcery for Yseult. I got all of the players involved, which I think made for a fun way to cap off the session.
