There were two Ecchi (well, one was basically hentai) anime I watched in the spring 2026 season, and each of them had episodes that were shorter than full length, making them not worth doing individual blog posts of. So, instead here are some brief thoughts on each show.

Ingoku Danchi: Deviant’s Apartment Complex

This show had exactly one joke – housewife is horny on main, gets magic outfit that gives her pervert powers, she harasses the Shota-bait manager until she’s defeated, repeat. There are no significant iterations or developments on that joke, and it can’t iterate on that joke because each episode is 3 minutes long. It’s not that I don’t mind a show having fanservice appealing to a particular kink, whether it’s mine or not. It’s that reiterating the same joke over and over again gets old, even if you’re not binge watching it.

Do You Like Big Girls?

This show is a borderline hentai based on the Seinen manga of the same title. This one narratively worked better, with Souta, our main character, getting to know each of the members of the girls volleyball team he’s managing, and while he ends up having sex with one of them basically each episode, there’s more to it than just the exact same joke repeated. Instead we’re fundamentally getting developments into each team member’s character.

That said, the problem with the show is it’s too short. It’s about 7-9 minutes long. I feel like if they’d just expanded the show a bit more, even if it meant combining episodes, we’d get a better story out of it.

Both of these shows are available for streaming on OceanVeil, which works well enough. I’ll probably do a separate video on the service as a whole later.
