I’ve had a busy week so I’ve fallen behind on getting blog posts prepped, so here are my photos from when I went to see Iron Maiden and The Hu at the Moda Center. Iron Maiden puts on a really good show, and The Hu had a great set and I look forward to having an opportunity to see them live on their own at some point in the future.
Electric Light Orchestra’s final tour came through the Moda Center, and I went to see it, and I give my thoughts.
I went to see a Jazz Octet play Cowboy Bebop music at the Aladdin Theater in Portland, and give my thoughts.
I went to the Portland Date of Miku Expo 2024, and I give my thoughts on the experience of going to the concert, and why I’m a fan of Vocaloids and Hatsune Miku.

So, I’m doing a break in my usual reaps with a review of a concert I went to today. To be specific, Tommy Tallerico and Jeff Wall’s tribute to video game music – Video Games Live has finally come to Portland, and I’ve finally seen it. So, what did I think?
Tommy Tallerico & Jeff Wall lead (in this concert) the Portland Philharmonic and the Pacific Youth Choir in a performance of music from various video games, including the Kingdom Hearts series, the Final Fantasy series, Mario, Legend of Zelda, and other games. Continue reading
