We open on the kids recounting the bus rescue from Batman #505 from their perspective, as we see that they are recounting this information to Dr. Leslie Thompkins & Commissioner Gordon. We also learn that Graham Etchison has refused to go into protective custody.

As AzBat leaves to continue his patrol, he’s ambushed- by Lady Clayface!

In flashback, we learn what she and Clayface III have been up to, inter-cut with what is happening now. Lady Clayface and Clayface III had been holed up in the woods trying to avoid human contact, with the complication that Clayface III is in constant physical pain, that is only relieved by killing. After one instance of this, the two are able to conceive a child.

In the present in Gotham, Lady Clayface attacks AzBat, while Clayface III goes to kidnap Graham Etchison. The issue ends with AzBat at Lady Clayface’s mercy.

Is this the end of Riders In The Sky?
